Such a likeable gentleman - if in the future I need any more orthopaedic surgery I would like to hope that he would be my surgeon. And all the staff at Pinehill Hospital were equally caring.

I found Mr Tai to be a very approachable Consultant who put me at ease. Everything was explained regarding a total knee replacement. He has a very reassuring manner. I would highly recommend him. I would add that in my mind he is a 'modern day' gentleman.

Following the negative media coverage about the NHS and non urgent operations in Jan 2017 I feel I need to make the following comments, following my right hip replacement surgery. I saw Mr. Stephen Tai in Nov 2017 and had the surgery on Feb 1st 2018. This followed a postponement, but by only 7days. I spent a few days in hospital and returned home. My last scheduled appointment was on7th August where I was finally discharged. I need to compliment all involved in my surgery from those staff, who arranged and scheduled appointments at Lister and the QE2 hospital, to all nursing, physiotherapy and ancillary employees at the Lister Treatment Centre. All those within Mr Tai's team, and those involved in pre and post op programmes. I experienced minimal waiting time for all appointments. Mr Tai was extremely personable and informative. Throughout the entire precedure I have been totally informed, treated politely and professionally and as a result my quality of life has improved greatly. I hope that some of these comments are received by those involved.

Thanks you for taking the time to provide feedback on the care you received. The NHS is under enormous pressure, but positive comments such as yours help to keep up the spirits of the hardworking admin staff, nurses and physiotherapists - I will be sure to pass on your comments to our Director of Nursing.

He was a very polite and I felt comfortable from my first appointment with Stephen. Everything was explained to me about my operation and what to expect post surgery. After care was excellent, would recommend Stephen Tai 5 star.

Mr Tai is the best surgeon I have met alongside Mr Trakru who did my first knee replacement in 2010.
